2009. You may still be putting 2008 on your checks but thats ok as long as you show your support for Sigma Chi! Dues pay for many things. $we have to pay $200 annual dues to headquarters and helps us put on events such as:
* State of the Province in February
* Sweetheart lunch - Sunday bruanch @ the Summit (1 week after valentines day)
* OU v OSU bedlam baseball
* Summer rush parties
* Christmas parties
* Community philanthropy
* Special recognition awards
* Mailouts.
* Website costs. ( domain name etc. Dvelopment of online brother directory)

This Friday, Jan 16th we will do the annual 'Honest Jim pot'. Our weekly lunch we have a pot that an attending brother will win. This weeks is special and happens once a year. The cost is $100. per 'letter'. you can go it alone and reap the rewards or have up to 50 guys contribute and have a fun and brotherhood. This tradition has produced many stories in the past and colorful ways to present your $100. entry. I was considering all $1. coins. Whomever wins would feel the weight of victory.
